Not-So Update Blitz
Posted on Monday, July 29, 2004

Yeah- so new TOTALLY AWESOME strip up. It's in color to signify a break from the the story arch at hand with the animator and his little friend in NYC.

Anyway- I made the strip as a treat to myself in finishing so much commissioned work over the last few days. The strip toke me forever since I'm having crazy computer and internet problems which have slowed productivity to a minimum- rendering production of the site into a hiatus.

Anyway again- I'm super tired and I need to figure out a way to pay rent for next month! Urgh...I wish I had a wish-list

Oh right- I also uploaded a METAL GEAR: GAIDEN THE COMIC teaser and a METAL GEAR: GAIDEN MAIN PAGE to follow through with it. I kind of like the line work...

Another Totally Awesome miss adventure is up! After I'm done the Efraim Siounis and Archive sections- the TA web site is going to be the first thing on my list to get done.

BUT until then I set up a link bar to the older strips for now. Enjoy!

I've been up for the last eight and a half hours finishing up the site. I... am... so... close.

But you guys HAVE to go over to see the new BrokenSaints.com DVD Website. I hope you'll all be in line to by their last installment. I know I will be.

oh- and by the by, the whole site SHOULD be done by tomorrow with a comic strip and the TA website to boot. Let's see if THAT works out.

Yeesh!

(Not) Flying in a jet plane

I'll be in New York city this coming week (July 4th-July 10th) so no strips that week. Also no updates or anything. I'm going to Flash Forward for an animation conference. Now a conference is a lot different from a convention. In a convention people without talent or self respect go to the see their heroes of the medium or genre. Now in a conference, the ones with talent and skill get to hang out with colleagues and other bad ass artists from the medium or genre. And wearing giant funny hats and dance these really complicated dances around dead hobos.

To bad you won't be there.

..

So I'm a few days let for Wednesdays trip. I was having problems setting up the strip. There is going to be a huge story arch taking place in New York at the Animation Conference for 'Little Buddy' and 'Mister Animator Man'... yeah so I haven't figured out names for them yet either. But it's all good.

I'm still learning Dreamweaver and I think I just had a break through with layers vs tables. So hopefully everything will be done by today, content wise

Slow and steady!

It's taking me some time, but slowly I will get all the pages and links together. I'm still having a lot of trouble getting the hang of DreamWeaver. It really sucks on how it doesn't automatically spell check while I'm typing. I'm a lazy man! Anyway, I'll keep working hard, but as you can see on the right, I got a lot of things going on now.

Another Layout. Let's hope this stays!

BAM!

New layout. Now I know I went on and on about the last layout. But it had to changed. I started to smart myself up and realized that FrontPage2000 really sucks. So I decided to revamp the website with Dreamweaver. (Which is were the shit is at) I hope you like the new place. I think I'm in love with it! C.C. would be proud.

In other news, today's strip is the debut of the long awaited for (I'm talking since 1997) Totally Awesome Comic Strips. Their eventually going to get their own site, but for now their going to run on the index page. Their own site will mainly just be their archive where the index page will show them on new release. What I'm going to do is reprint all the old comic strips I ever made in this format. Hopefully I'll get some fans this way. *crosses fingers*

Today's strip stars Sammy from 'A Very Sammy Day' and 'Sammy's Vacation' (series) by AZAD, a Montreal based artist. His work on Sammy's Vacation got me into the comic business, so I decided to celebrate my 15th revamp with a guess strip to his creation. Check him out at www.guerrilla-comics.com

I'm trying to get everything more and more intergraded every time I revamp. Now with the separate NETWORK and COMICS sections, things are lot easier to place around. So hopefully uploaded my projects will be a lot easier than it use to be.
